Schools & Houses
This part of my History is about the schools, houses and places I have lived over the past 26'ish years of my life.

The Three Crowns at Wellington.
This is one of the first places I ever lived. The Three Crowns Pub in Wellington, Shropshire. We lived here until I was about two or three. I think. I used to see stuff moving about on the shelves and mantlepieces at night, and it used to freak me out big time. Mum & Dad used to run this place, but I think dad used to liquidise his assets when it came to profits.

Abbotts Road, in Shrewsbury. This is where we did a lot of growing up and as you can see it was a 3 storey, 3 bedroomed council house. A lot of friends were made here but I have hardly ever seen any of them for years.

Crowmoor School
While we lived at Abbotts Rd, Mike and I went to Crowmoor Primary School, and it was a hell of a laugh. This is where Mike chopped the end of his finger in a door. (While he was perving into the girls changing room) I was at Crowmoor between 1979-1984.

These next two pictures are teams that I played in while I was at Crowmoor School.

Mum's house

When Gareth was born we had just moved to Buttington Rd. Shrewsbury. Although it wasn't the best of area's we made a lot of friends, and only got into trouble a couple of times. The worst trouble I can remember is when Steve Greenhalgh and I were knocking a wall down where Safeways now is and the police picked us up. Steve had loads of knives and stuff on him 'cos he was in Cadets and had the camouflage gear to go with it. I lived at Buttington Road until I moved into a flat with Jo, in 1991.

This is the school where me, Mike and Gareth were to attend (Belvidere). We had all sorts of rumours about having you head flushed in the toilet but Mike and I made it through. Now Gaz has just left and he has started tech doing a Nat Dip in Computer Studies.Stll hasn't got a job to pay for women & drugs though.

I went to Belvidere in 1984 and left in 1989.

Belvidere Belongs !!

Sentinel Steam Waggon Works
After I finished school I started on an Apprenticeship at Perkins in Shrewsbury. I trained to be in Electrical & Electronic Engineering. This building in the picture on the left used to be Rolls Royce / Perkins front gate. It is from the Sentinel Waggon Works.

In 1992-1993 the factory moved across the railway line onto Lancaster Rd. The old site was sold to Morrissons Supermarkets. You can see the new factories from Morrisson's car park.

I now work as a Measurements Engineer and most of the weirdos that I work with can be seen on the Asylum page.

Middlegate Dump
While I was working here I met a girl called Joanne in Park Lane nightclub and we eventually moved into a flat in Underdale Rd. Shrewsbury. Jo didn't like it much as she used to lived in the country at a place called Walford. We stayed here for a year and a half and then bought our own house in Middlegate, Shrewsbury. We got married while we were at Middlegate, and we have now been married for over 5 years.

After we got rid of that house, we rented for 4 months in Sundorne and then bought our house up on Heath Farm, Shrewsbury. Absolutley brilliant. I've got a utility room to put my Batman stuff in !!!!

The neighbors are really nice in this close and everybody looks out for each other. We're glad we moved up here. Prices have also gone up by £13,000 since we bought our house. (Nice)

A Batcave at last !!!!!

Over the next few months I will be raiding my mum's photo collection to bring pictures of people from school at Belvidere and other places. If you went to school with me or my brothers, why not e-mail me with pictures and stories for me to pass on.
