Books
Here is a list of all my Batman Books, most of them are graphic novels but there are a few more I have got which don't fall into this category. Some are ladybird books, while some are novelisations of films, etc. Some of my books are Annuals which I buy cheap from cheap bookshops.
Like the one below, this was from a car boot sale for £1.50. It is the Annual No. 1 published by Brown Watson. I have never seen it anywhere before and have been looking on e-bay and stuff to find it since.
One of my faves out of the list are The Dark Knight Returns by Miller. This is one of my early buys and showed me how good Batman stories are. To this day I think I have never read a better Bat story than this.
The other fave is Arkham Asylum by Morrison & McKean. Another good story but the artwork inside is absolutley fantastic. IT conveys the madness of the Asylum and the horrors inside. Joker blows a guards head off, Two-Face wets himself, Batman breaks Clayface's leg and stabs himself in the hand with a piece of glass. Very slick and sick. I love it.
Two of the books mentioned below are Spanish books, one is called "Locura, Espacial Halloween" and the other is called "Batman: Demonios". I bought both of these books whilst on holiday in Magaluf, Mallorca. Whilst both books are done by great writers and artists Sale, Loeb, Dini and Timm, I cannot understand a word except the obligatory "ARRRGGHHs" and stuff. As I cannot read the story I feel it unfair to mark them.
